The absolute tiniest sampling of what I have available in the beautiful bead basic in Czech Glass Beads, from Fire Polished, Pressed Round Druks, Leaves, Cubes and more. I indicate if the beads are considered a Vintage status by adding for example circa 1998, 2000 or whatever is applicable.
Does it matter? Well, technically, creatively yes. I will do a more in-depth explanation separately, but for now on good visual example is based on the Vintage Peyote Stitch Peyote Beaded Purse patterns that are embellished with beads.
Now those patterns are about 25 years old and the beads attached in the patterns are about 25 years old, so Vintage (and no, you don't have to use Vintage beads to make the pattern, but if you wanted to and wondered why you where having such a hard time locating similar beads, it's a good thing to know that they are Vintage, not unattainable, but a bit harder to find.) Someone with years of bead knowledge will certainly be able to help, or some Facebook beading groups too are great resources; or you can contact me, The Bead Stylist because this is what I do too.
