2025 WELCOMES YOU & Your Creativity! ... Why Free Shipping Isn't Always Feasible
While free shipping is a popular offer, it's often not a sustainable practice for small businesses like mine. Here's why:
Actual Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs, especially for small, lightweight items like beads, can be surprisingly high. Offering free shipping would mean absorbing those costs, which cuts into already slim profit margins.
Fair Pricing: I strive to keep my prices fair and competitive. Building shipping costs into the price of each item would make them appear more expensive, even though the overall cost to the buyer might be the same.
Transparency: I prefer to be transparent about pricing. By charging separately for shipping, you see exactly what you're paying for.
Thank you for supporting my small business! I appreciate your understanding of these policies. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Order Processing: I strive to process and ship orders within 1-2 business days of receiving payment. You'll receive a notification when your order ships.
Custom Orders: I'm happy to discuss custom orders! Please message me with your ideas, and we can collaborate.
RETURN POLICIES:

Return Conditions: Returns are accepted on items in their original, unused condition. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Refunds: Once the returned item is received, I will issue a refund for the purchase price (excluding original shipping costs).
Damaged Items: In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged, please contact me immediately with photos of the damage and packaging. We'll work together to find a solution, which may include a replacement or refund.
SHIPPING:
Domestic Shipping: I ship within the United States via United States Postal Service First Class/Priority Mail with tracking. Shipping costs are calculated based on package weight and destination.
INTERNATIONAL Shipping: I welcome international orders! I ship internationally using USPS First Class International/Priority Mail International]. Please be aware that buyers are responsible for any customs fees or import taxes that may apply. Delivery times for international orders can vary significantly. NOTE: Shopping carefully within any Etsy shop can significantly reduce your overall shipping expense.
Communicate with the shop owner to determine the best way to ship based on the quantity you ordered. EXAMPLE; A flat rate envelope can fit about 10 silk cord spools and you will only be charged the ONE (1) flat rate for all of those items.
