2025 WELCOMES YOU & Your Creativity! ... Why Free Shipping Isn't Always Feasible
While free shipping is a popular offer, it's often not a sustainable practice for small businesses like mine. Here's why:
Actual Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs, especially for small, lightweight items like beads, can be surprisingly high. Offering free shipping would mean absorbing those costs, which cuts into already slim profit margins.
Fair Pricing: I strive to keep my prices fair and competitive. Building shipping costs into the price of each item would make them appear more expensive, even though the overall cost to the buyer might be the same.
Transparency: I prefer to be transparent about pricing. By charging separately for shipping, you see exactly what you're paying for.
Thank you for supporting my small business! I appreciate your understanding of these policies. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Order Processing: I strive to process and ship orders within 1-2 business days of receiving payment. You'll receive a notification when your order ships.
Custom Orders: I'm happy to discuss custom orders! Please message me with your ideas, and we can collaborate.
RETURN POLICIES:
Returns: I want you to be happy with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied, please contact me within 3-5 days of receiving your order.

Damaged Items: In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged, please contact me immediately with photos of the damage and packaging. We'll work together to find a solution, which may include a replacement or refund.
SHIPPING:
Domestic Shipping: I ship within the United States via United States Postal Service First Class/Priority Mail with tracking. Shipping costs are calculated based on package weight and destination.
INTERNATIONAL Shipping: I welcome international orders! I ship internationally using USPS First Class International/Priority Mail International]. Please be aware that buyers are responsible for any customs fees or import taxes that may apply. Delivery times for international orders can vary significantly. NOTE: Shopping carefully within any Etsy shop can significantly reduce your overall shipping expense.
Communicate with the shop owner to determine the best way to ship based on the quantity you ordered. EXAMPLE; A flat rate envelope can fit about 10 silk cord spools and you will only be charged the ONE (1) flat rate for all of those items.

Bulk Quantity Miyuki Delica & Seed Beads PRE-SALE aka PRE-ORDER Group was created to accommodate the request for purchasing larger quantities of Miyuki Delica beads, Miyuki & Czech Glass seed beads, and Bugle beads other than the standard 7gr - 20gr found on most seller sites.
Note: This is a Pre-Sale / Pre-Order Purchasing Group that will help with keeping prices low. If You have questions, please ask before purchasing; otherwise, not asking implies that you understand all conditions of ordering.
Although there is no minimum for placing Your pre-order, a combination of orders must be at least $300 before a final order will be submitted.
If the total is less than $300, You will be notified whether or not Your order will be pushed to the next calendar date.
Orders are placed every 7-10 days during the most demanding times (September-January).
Orders are shipped via USPS PRIORITY MAIL (only a flat rate is charged for shipping your beads to You; flat rate charge may fluctuate based on order weight)
All links lead to Paypal as the payment method. You do not need to have a Paypal account to use this payment method, which does not have additional marketplace fees like Etsy & eBay, thus helping me to pass savings onto You.
How It works
There are thousands of colors in Miyuki Delica beads alone, and the cost of holding inventory until it sells always adds to the purchase price; here's how this Pre-Sale Group works (adjustments will be made as I better understand Your needs):
Miyuki Beads: Miyuki has standard manufacture numbers for all of their beads, whether Delica Beads, or Seed Beads, Bugle Beads, Hex Cut Beads, Cubes, Drops, and Magatamas. Bead Mixes are created by individual wholesale suppliers and typically use names instead of numbers. However, to ensure you’re getting what you want please include the manufacturer's number and color name-and of course, bead size and type.
Bulk Buying means you are purchasing in manufacturer packaging from 50 grams - 250 grams. No repacking is involved, which results in cost savings.
Color sample cards are available. Price vary depending on color chart. However, you can get the information for free from the Miyuki website:
Miyuki Category of Finished Beads & Care Instructions
New Miyuki Delica Beads: Duracoat Colors – Opaque Dyed
Bead colors are sometimes discontinued without notice so if you find the color that you like order as much as you can afford in the event of a discontinued status.
Bead mixes are not created by Miyuki so they will not have a number. Sellers many change the name of a bead mix, but I can usually tell exactly what the bead mix is my looking at the picture.
Follow links to see Bead Mix colors for Delica Beads and 15/0 seed bead mix colors (if a color is not there, please just let me know the name of the mix and I’ll send you a picture to see if it’s what you’re looking for)
Ordering Process
If you need your order sooner than the following established standard, there will be a 15% upcharge on your order total.
· Prepaid Orders taken approx. every 7-10 days.
· Orders are shipped out to you the following Wednesday / Thursday (depends on shipment arrival and/or holiday schedule). Additional supplier closings may also apply and affect order order-taking / shipping schedule; however, we will adjust accordingly.
· Paypal accepts all major credit cards and you don’t need an account to pay for your order.
Here’s how it will work initially: (If you need 250 grams and my beads are packed 100 grams or 50 grams I will list both pack sizes in the same color and you can just order as needed – it still offers quite a savings).
· Post your request to the group. A PayPal purchasing link will be created for You to purchase the items You requested. Here are some examples:
· Example #1: (Delica) Bead Number. Size. Description. Quantity.
· Example #2: Bead Mixes (typically don’t have a manufacturer's color number) Size Description. Quantity.
· Example #3: 250 grams (1/2 Kilo) 11/0 Czech Glass Charlotte (cut) seed beads Ceylon white
· Czech Glass Beads are a bit different; if you have the number please include, but descriptions are very important when ordering Czech Glass Beads. Example: 250 grams (1/2 Kilo), 6/0 Czech Glass seed beads Transparent Crystal AB
· Your item(s) will then be added to the group as ‘an item for sale’ and you purchase what you need.
The savings can be offered for a few reasons, with one being having great vendor relationships established over the years. Additionally, savings also come from the process of:
· Accumulating orders approx., 7-10 days (calendar schedule to be established)
· Vendors preference when orders are placed.
· Orders received from my vendors in 2-3 days.
· Your order will ship approximately. 1-day after receipt from vendor(s). Order will ship via USPS Priority Mail w/Tracking and $50 free insurance; you can purchase additional insurance if you feel it’s necessary.
SHIPPING & HANDLING: Currently, all orders will be charged a $8.95 shipping & handling charge, regardless of order size (unless, because of the weight of your order charges are considerably more).
Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail (USPS Priority Envelope or Box), which includes delivery tracking and insurance of $50.
